Internship in Psychology (PRCTRNS) provides learners with relevant work experience where they can apply psychology principles. Learners complete 200 hours of work at their respective job sites. An on-site supervisor serves as the learner’s mentor on the how-to’s of the job, including observation of norms and implicit behavior ethics. A faculty adviser facilitates the learning experience and provides an opportunity for critical reflection. Towards the end of the course, learners develop a project that integrates the promotion of mental health and their internship experience.
