Scholarship Application

1. When can I apply for a scholarship?

Wait for the announcement of the Office of Admission and Scholarships (OAS), University Student Government (USG), and Lasallian Scholars Society (LSS) regarding the opening of scholarships. Announcements can commonly be seen via Help Desk Announcement of their official Facebook pages. Alternatively, you may check the LSS Calendar if there is a scholarship application on-going.

2. How can I apply for a scholarship?

The Office of Admission and Scholarships and other concerned organizations usually post the needed requirements that you need to submit. They also post some information about the application process such as the eligibility to apply and the deadlines of submission so just follow the instructions.

3. Who Should I contact if I have questions or concerns regarding my application?

For internal and external scholarships, you can contact the Office of Admission and Scholarships (OAS) at scholarships@dlsu.edu.ph.
For scholarships from the University Student Government (USG), you can contact the official Facebook page of USG at https://www.facebook.com/dlsu.usg
For scholarships from the Lasallian Scholars Society, you can contact the LSS at scholars@dlsu.edu.ph or any member of the Scholar Services.

4. I am a transferee or a regular student during my freshman year. Can I still apply for a scholarship in my second year?

Yes, just wait for the announcement of the Office of Admission and Scholarships (OAS), University Student Government (USG), and/or Lasallian Scholars Society (LSS) regarding the opening of scholarships.

Payment Concerns

1. When is the deadline for payment without surcharge for scholars?

As per OAS guidelines, the deadline for payment without surcharge will be on September 21, 2024.

Leave of Absence

1. I am a scholar and I am planning to file a Leave of Absence(LOA). How do I inform OAS about this?

Secure permission from OAS before filing your LOA through emailing them at scholarships@dlsu.edu.ph along with supporting documents. Once OAS allows you to take a LOA, kindly follow the procedures set by the OUR.

2. How do I apply for LOA?

Students must accomplish the application for LOA and upload necessary documents to this Google Form: https://bit.ly/Undergraduate_LOA
-Medical certificates with a clear contact number of attending physicians/psychiatrist is required.-Consent Letter and Valid ID of the Declared Guardian-Supporting Documents (if applicable only)
NOTE: Students may be on leave for a maximum of two terms only

Memberships

1. How do I become a member of the organization (LSS)?

All bonafide graduate and undergraduate students of De La Salle University - Manila are automatically considered as a member of the organization, regardless if the scholarship is internally or externally-funded.

2. How can I apply for officership in the organization?

Officer applications are open every Term 1 of the Academic Year. Please stay tuned at our Facebook page for any announcements.

3. How do I attend your events?

You can attend our events by staying tuned in our social media pages. All events of the organization will be posted there.

Clearance Concerns

I have a clearance hold with Health Services Office. Will this have other repercussions aside from not being able to enter the campus? I am afraid that this clearance hold might affect my graduation because I do not have any insurance but I also do not plan to visit DLSU or attend face-to-face classes.

You can email vaccine.records@dlsu.edu.ph to explain your situation, if you are already a graduating student and have no plans on visiting the campus, so you can be cleared by the Health Services Office.
