If you discover a fire in your area:

• Notify others by activating the manual pull station or calling the emergency response team using the Dial-111 hotline.

• Attend to human life in immediate danger if it is safe.

• If you are trained in firefighting, use appropriate equipment to extinguish the fire. Remember PASS: Pull pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep side to side. 

• If the available firefighting equipment cannot extinguish or control the fire, evacuate the area.

• For electrical fires, turn off the electrical supply if it is safe.

• Please remain calm and do not engage in panic. Proceed to the designated evacuation assembly area in an orderly manner. 

• All fire incidents, regardless of magnitude, must be reported immediately.
