Mr. Ronilo Palle Antonio is a Google Certified Educator Level 2 and a faculty member at the College of Education, Bulacan State University, in the City of Malolos, handling Professional Education and Biology content courses. In the College of Education, he was the Head of the Research Development Unit and the Coordinator of the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) Review Office. He was also concurrently designated as the Head of the ANIB-DAMPI Research Program of the Research Management Office of Bulacan State University.
At present, he is pursuing a doctorate degree in Science Education (Biology) at De La Salle University-Manila as a St. La Salle scholar and Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) scholar. He obtained his Master’s degree in Biology Education from De La Salle University-Manila as a CHEd K to 12 scholar, where he received the Outstanding Thesis Award. He finished his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bulacan State University as Magna cum Laude and full institutional scholar. In 2017, he received the Best Lesson Exemplar and Outstanding Teacher Award in the K12 STEM Education Training of the Commission on Higher Education Region 3.
As a teacher-researcher, he was able to present at international and national research conferences. In 2018, he received the “Best Paper Award” in the International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School (IPRRFSS) held at the Education University of Hongkong, Tai Po, Hong Kong. Moreover, he has research publications in international refereed and reputable journals, including SCOPUS-indexed journals such as Journal of Turkish Science Education and International Journal of Research in Education and Science; he is also a reviewer of various international research journals. His research interest focuses on science education, technology-enhanced learning, inquiry-based learning, metacognition, and scientific argumentation. Mr. Antonio has also been invited as resource speaker of various professional development programs on LET review sessions, action research, technology integration, and research writing.
His passion for lifelong learning hopes to inspire prospective and in-serve teachers to cultivate significant and positive changes in education.
