The Young Economists’ Convention (YEC) is the official annually-held convention of De La Salle University’s Economics Organization (DLSU-EconOrg), catering to budding and aspiring economists from within and outside the country. Since its humble beginnings as a simple panel discussion, the YEC is now the largest student-organized economics convention in the Philippines. For 20 years and going, the YEC has served as a catalyst for promoting and endorsing awareness among young nation builders through its culminating event: The Young Economists’ International Convention.

The CORE Program is the organization’s premier officer training program for its members. It mainly encompasses a mentorship system, in which members are assigned to be mentees under the organization’s incumbent officers, and is supplemented by a set of comprehensive workshops and activities in preparation for officership.
Project 4.0 is an umbrella project which aims to provide academic aid and assistance for economics courses using its three sub-initiatives. Its first wing, TAP or the Tutorial Aptitude Program, aims to prepare students with a reviewer and a tutorial session set before a major exam. PATs or the Personalized Academic Tutoring Sessions put groups of 15 students with one tutor to help students with personal questions or problems they have with their courses. WAPs or the Writing A Paper Series, is a lecture series where speakers provide tips for how to write Term Papers.

Thesis IT! presents an opportunity for the students to learn from firsthand experiences of their upperclassmen and even graduates who have already undergone the thesis-writing subjects (MTSERCH, THS1ECO, THS2ECO) taught in the School of Economics (SOE).
Majors It! is a program that empowers students taking or about to take the triad of major subjects (MIC Series, MAC Series, METR Series) by showcasing speakers who have already finished these subjects and aced it.
The Practicum Partners Forum (PPF) is an event that will give students a better understanding of the necessary skills that will help them ascend in their future career paths. The PPF will host accredited guest speakers who will share their tips about how they were able to find success in their careers.
Career-OK is a yearly initiative of the organization to provide students with ample knowledge on how to transition into the professional world. This is currently done through webinars wherein speakers discuss key topics such as resume know-hows and email etiquette to name a few.
ECONfessions provides a safe avenue for economics students and the SOE community to express their opinions, experiences, and advocacies without the fear of being criticized personally. It is a year-long freedom wall for the SOE community that lets them share parts of themselves anonymously.
Membership Appreciation is a termly event that aims to provide an avenue for fruitful bonding among members that will help them unwind, learn and promote organization cohesiveness. The main purpose of the Membership Appreciation is to show gratitude and appreciation to the members of the organization through fun and chill activities.
Taking it to the Skies (TITTS) is a termly event of the Economics Organization characterized by a series of webinars that emphasize a selection of initiatives that officers of the organization hope to advocate for. TITTS aims to provide an avenue for students to concretely work on socio-civic and hollistic activities that instill both internal and external development.

Gradient Series in a two-part workshop that teaches different types of visual art. This workshop aims to promote creativity among students and to give them an opportunity to discover and explore their interest in design.
The Economic Scholarship Program aims to further advance the financial literacy of the students of the Alternative Learning System (ALS). Topics like basic budgeting, money management, and the like will be taught to the students of DLSU ALS.
