Take a look back at the Student Council's highlights from A.Y. 2024 - 2025
Christmas Under the Stars was the official Christmas event held last December 18, 2024 in the Covered Court. The celebration featured a variety of festive activities, including Santa’s Workshop, a whiteboard mural-making event; Santa’s Helpers, where student-led businesses showcased their booths; Campfire Carols, a lively caroling competition; and several intermission numbers, such as live band and dance performances that added to the holiday cheer.
The Build on Better Initiative (BOBI) offered a meaningful opportunity for students and their families to give back to the community by donating gently used items from their homes. Held last February 1, 2025, at the MRR, this SAU-led initiative was made possible with the support of the Student Council, who assisted in organizing and distributing the donations. The collected items were thoughtfully given to our hardworking school staff as a gesture of appreciation and care.
Halina’t Harana was the official Valentine’s Day event held last February 13, 2025, at the LC2. The celebration featured a charming setup called Cupid’s Cuties, with booths in the LC2 lobby offering crocheted flowers, cookies, and other Valentine-themed items. Adding to the sweet atmosphere was an anonymous board where students could express their feelings or leave heartfelt messages for someone special.
During last year’s Housefest, the Student Council successfully collaborated to launch official merchandise, including House Jerseys and clappers. A dedicated SC gazebo served as a booth for selling the items, adding to the excitement of the event. Students could also request songs to be played and give shoutouts through the mic, making the Housefest experience even more fun and memorable.
Opulence: A Night of Elegance and Grandeur was the headline of last academic year’s Grade 10 Prom, featuring a captivating masquerade theme. Attendees embraced the mystery and charm of the evening by wearing masks, adding a touch of sophistication to the celebration. The night was made even more memorable with live band performances, dance circles, and moments that allowed everyone to fully enjoy the magic of prom.
Archverse was last year’s official Family Day event and served as the grand finale of the school year. Held last May 24, 2025, the celebration was divided into two parts. The first featured DLSU’s cheer and dance performances by the grade school department. The second part began with a theatrical performance titled Stellar, followed by lively acts from student bands, teachers, and Housefest winners. The night concluded with a special performance by Silent Sanctuary, a dazzling fireworks display, and a DJ set that brought the celebration to a high-energy close.
