De La Salle’s SAVE Club inspired some green competitions by collecting pop cans and bottles during Spirit Week. Freshmen donated the most recyclables, followed by the Juniors, Seniors, and Sophomores, respectively. Members of the club quickly returned the bottles, cashing in over $250. With the profits, we have already adopted a cobra, an endangered species. Kenneth voted for the mascot’s name!
The SAVE Club wanted to commemorate Earth Day this year by offering DLS students, staff, and alumni a special Earth Day T-Shirt! The shirt cost $12 and a dress down day was offered to any student who purchased the shirt on Friday, April 29. We thank all of those who purchased the shirt, in support of the SAVE Club's continued commitment to keeping DLS green!
