Attended by Whitney Gisvold & Olivia Mitchell, the Fall Leadership Confernece is an opportunity for students to get together and discuss goals and opportunities in the upcoming year.

The FBLA State Leadership Conference was held on April 2-3. Devils Lake’s FBLA took just three students to state. Over 60 FBLA chapters from across the state participated in this conference, connecting approximately 1,150 middle and high school students to test business skills against their peers from around the state. Not only did all of these first-timers place, but they all qualified for nationals! The following is a list of results from the State Leadership Conference (the national qualifying events are marked with an asterisk):

• Meagan Halle, Intro to IT: 2nd Place*

• Word Processing: 9th Place

• Betty Fang, Word Processing: 4th Place*

• Meagan Halle & Betty Fang: Spring LifeSmarts Competition, 6th Place

• Betty Fang, Meagan Halle, & Olivia Mitchell: LACTC FBLA Who's Who Members

Betty Fang and Meagan Halle went on to compete at the National Leadership Conference at the end of June 2023.
