Education: I attended school in St. Paul, MN until the end of my sophomore year when my family moved to Fessenden, ND. I graduated from Fessenden High School in 1977. I attended the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN where I graduated in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in biology. I attended NDSU to receive my teaching credentials. In 2000, I received a master's degree in Science Education.  In 2018, I finally completed my dissertation and received my doctorate of education in Teacher Leadership through Walden University.

A bit about me: I live in Des Lacs with my husband Sherman and our two dogs. I love living and teaching in Des Lacs! This is my 43rd year of teaching, and I am not quite sure where the years have gone! I have three sisters, two brothers, and a bunch of wonderful nieces and nephews. I enjoy traveling, and I visit my Mom at her home in Wisconsin whenever possible. Some of my hobbies include gardening, reading, knitting, and walking. I love to be outside as often as I can.
