About Me: I Grew up In McLeod ND (20 miles east of Lisbon) on a Farm/Ranch. My parents raise roughly 500 Simmental/Charolais Cattle. I have a love for agriculture from growing up on the Farm/Ranch and through the FFA organization in High School.

Family: I have a wonderful wife, Kay Quam, who teaches Math also at DLB, I have 5 amazing daughters Brooklyn (9), Alivia (7), Tenley (5), and Savannah (2) and Gabrielle (1 mth)

Education: Upon Graduating from Wyndmere Public School in 2002, I attended NDSCS in Wahpeton where I earned an associates degree, I furthered my education at North Dakota State University, where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Education.

Teaching: I have been teaching in Des Lacs-Burlington High School since I graduated from NDSU in 2007. I am also the FFA Advisor, and enjoy traveling with students to various judging contests and watching my students mature and grow into the young leaders of Tomorrow!
