Veterans coming home from war face issues that affect their way of living. PTSD, homelessness, unemployment, and substance abuse are just a few of the many modern issues that veterans are left with after coming back from war.
In Iraq, after the war ended, the new government struggled after U.S. troops left. The next 10 years were full of protests, corruption, and political polarization. The resulting conflicts have led to the death of 67,376 and displaced 5,625,024 civilians.
Operation Second Chance is an organization whose goal is to not only assist Veterans who may be sick, or injured and their families. They also want to help them create relationships and helping them find the resources that they may need to recover from their time in service ("Chance").
