Rolling Scores

The Scorekeeper publishes the 5-round rolling scores report after every deal. Dealers use the rolling scores report to resolve tied scores in the following round. To resolve ties, the dealer takes the 4-round rolling score rankings, not including the round being resolved, as shown below. This gives a result identical to the 5-round rolling score rankings, including the round being resolved (as the rules require), because the scores in the round being resolved are the same: otherwise there would be no tie to resolve.

It may happen that players have tied scores in a round, and also have tied ranks in the rolling scores table above. In that case the dealer resolves the tie according to their ranks in the total scores since Round 1. These are shown below. The ranks shown are the players' all-time ranks, that is, the table indicates where they stand in relation to everyone else who has ever played, who number about 350. Players do occasionally trade places in this table, but that very seldom happens, and so this table is not refreshed very often.
