Student Checklist
Welcome to Divine Mercy University!
We're so glad you're here! We are here to help you walk through the steps needed to be seated in class. Use the checklist below to begin your onboarding process. Contact us at any time if you need any help
**IMPORTANT**
You must set up your student email account first—it is required to access these resources.
All admitted applicants will receive a DMU email account . With this account you will be able to access your courses, DMU resources, and all official communication from DMU. If you have received this Onboarding Link but have not received yet an email or canvas account information from Student Success, please allow for our team to do so. You will not have access to most of the links in this page until your Email and Canvas account are created and activated.
This step is needed in order to complete your financial aid and to issue your Enrollment Agreement. It will be sent to your student email account via Populi. Once you submit your SSN, please allow 24–48 business hours for the confirmation email from Populi, as it is not sent automatically. If you experience any issues, please contact registrar@divinemercy.edu.
See link here for more information.
The DMU enrollment agreement is a contract between a student and a university that outlines the conditions of enrollment and the cost of the program. The notification about the Enrollment Agreement will be sent to your DMU Student Email account from Populi's notification functions. Make sure you've completed Step 2 to proceed to this step. The Enrollment Agreement is not sent automatically after you submit your Social Security Number. Please allow 24-48 hours for the document to be sent to you.
Disclaimer: The cost in the Enrollment Agreement you will receive does not reflect your personal tuition plan. You will receive an invoice at the beginning of each semester from our business office.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure that your overview meeting with the Office of Financial Aid regarding your funding plans and scholarships have been completed prior. This must be done before the Enrollment Agreement can be sent to you.
See link here for more information.
The DMU Orientation is a live Zoom class (for the Online Students) where you will learn how to navigate Canvas, connect with other students in your cohort and learn about DMU resources. You may choose to attend a live session or complete it asynchronously by the deadline set by your Program. Make sure you have access to Canvas before you take this class. Instructions for accessing Canvas are found here.
For the PsyD Students, please read the instructions in the link below.
