There are many places to visit. these are tazhat palace, museum, and women's training center which is established in "paira bondh", The birth place of Begum Rokeya. there is an ancient auditorium named TOWN HALL. Rangpur district have many educational institute including Behum Rokeya University, Rangpur Medical College, Carmichael college, Cadet College, Rangpur Gov. college, Cantorment Public School and College, Rangpur Zilla School, Rangpur gov girls high school
