The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these things to connect, collect and exchange data.
History
History
Before 1982 the concept of a network that was related with smart devices was discussed. After then many newspapers and researchers published multiple articles about the concept of IoT. In 1999 IoT was coined by Kevin Ashton of Procter & Gamble, later MIT's Auto-ID Center . From then many researchers were working to apply IoT in real life. After 2008 IoT became a success project and from then to now this field is increasing day by day.
