Daffodil International University Research Society (DIURS) is an official student organization of Daffodil International University, established on 12 March 2024 to promote a vibrant research culture across all departments of the university.
The society functions as a multidisciplinary platform where students can learn, practice and showcase research skills through seminars, workshops, webinars, collaborative initiatives and national‑level academic events.
Establishment: Salman Sir founded DIURS on 12 March 2024 to address the need for a dedicated student platform that introduces research culture early, builds methodological skills, and prepares DIU students for national and international academic opportunities through structured seminars, workshops, and higher-study guidance.
Leadership Role: Serves as the primary academic and administrative leader, overseeing society establishment, executive committee approval (07/03/2025), and all major activities to promote a vibrant research environment at Daffodil International University.
The mission of DIURS is to introduce students to research from the early stages of their academic journey and to build their capacity in literature review, research design, data analysis, academic writing and scholarly communication through well‑structured programmes.
The vision of DIURS is to become a leading student research hub that consistently nurtures future researchers and innovators, supports evidence‑based problem solving and contributes to the national and global knowledge ecosystem in line with the values of Daffodil International University.
