CC Cameras are now a must option for security. They can capture the moments of crime that are happening. We can know about this later after watching the videos. But if we have a system that can alert us right there when the crime is happening, it would be very great. For this purpose we considering weapons as a threat. Live alert for the weapons can save many properties even lives. CCTV surveillance can surely extends our views. But it needs to be a human to understand all the pictures meaning, all the threats and it takes much of the precious time to react. It would be so nice to train machine to understand the threads shown in the pictures and alarm us or take the necessary steps. From this, we wanted to build a model that can detect weapons in frames in real time.
Our machine will be trained on pre-labeled dataset. It will take footage from CCTV camera and then try to find weapons in footage in real time.
After feeding the machine the real time footage of the camera, it will detect weapons in the picture frame real time. This method can be used to video surveillance. The cc camera can live feed the model and get to know about is there any weapon or not. This can be greatly helpful to the community.
