TAKE-OFF
Daffodil International University Computer and Programming Club (DIU CPC) is organizing Take-off Programming Contest in every semester to create the best and skilled artisans in the field of programming. This program is only for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester students.
It is essential for the new students of the university to get the right idea of programming at the very beginning of their university life. And to get inspired, motivated and encouraged to think about their future. Like every time, the DIU CPC has successfully hosted the 8th Take-Off Programming Contest in 27th July, 2018. These types of encouraging programming events helped Daffodil International University to differentiate itself from other universities. This event was a great opportunity for students to acquire knowledge about programming as well as to meet senior programmers and programming enthusiast teachers
HULT PRIZE
The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student social entrepreneurship competition. Run in partnership with the United Nations, student teams from universities from across the world compete to solve a pressing social issue by developing a scalable, sustainable social enterprise. Finalists pitch to a panel of esteemed judges, global business leaders, thought leaders, and changemakers to win 1M USD and launch their enterprise. Past judges include former US President Bill Clinton, former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Muhammad Yunus. Past challenges include food security, access to clean water, and affordable education.
