Below are some optional STEM and family projects and activities that go along with events and themes in Stuart Little that can be done at home.
Send any pictures of work to pima@district96.org so a picture of it can be put up on our website. In addition, any physical pieces/drawings can be brought into school to be displayed in our Stuart Little display table in the library!
Since Stuart is only around 2 inches tall, everything Stuart uses is either made just for him or adapted so that it fits him. Your family is invited to make a piece of furniture or anything Stuart might use that is sized perfectly for him.
Use a video, a picture or your imagination to draw Stuart!

How to Draw Stuart Little: Video 1
Stuart Little is a mouse who lives like a human and is loved by the Little family just as he is. Their acceptance reminds us that families come in many forms.
As part of our One School One Book program, we invite all families to create a heart-shaped collage showing what family means to them. Cut out a heart of any size, write your last name in the center, and decorate it with photos, drawings, or small items that represent your family—like a puzzle piece for game nights or a ticket from a special outing.
We will display all our hearts together to celebrate the diversity of our school community. Hearts will be returned, so please don’t include anything of value.
