WATER BOTTLES

It is recommended to send a water bottle with your child each day. We keep them in the purple boxes that I refer to as "The hydration station." Water only please.

Attendance

Please do your very best to ensure that your child is here as much as possible. Also, being on time is very important as we start our morning meeting as soon as the announcements are complete.

HOMEWORK

Please make sure your child reads 20 minutes each night. This can include a parent reading with them. Our new ELA curriculum will also have reading passages that will come home that we have done in class that you can reread for fun, and further down the road, there will be spelling lists to study.

Birthdays!

We celebrate birthdays at Central School. In the classroom, I give them a sticker, bookmark, and a handwritten birthday note. They will also have the option to use the birthday chair whenever they want throughout the day. e do not allow snacks of any kind to be brought in as a school policy, but please don't fret; your child will feel special on their big day!

** We also celebrate half-birthdays for students who may have a summer birthday. :)
