In 1974 a report was written regarding the history of Little Symphony. The letter was written by Ms. Billie J. Clifford. The report gave history and organizational information as well as recommendations for the future. Click the link to the left to see the letter.

The Chicago Winds chamber orchestra has played for our Little Symphony for since 2006 and we are thrilled to have them bring back their beautiful music for our first Little Symphony program in 2 years!

In 1983, Lori Lippitz founded the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, named for Chicago's old Sunday morning Jewish marketplace.
In the years since, Maxwell Street has become the Midwest's most popular klezmer band, touring seven times in Europe and performing throughout the U.S., including Carnegie Hall. Audiences of all backgrounds have been delighted by Maxwell Street's high-energy performances that glow with warmth and humor.

Every other year the students of Hauser perform their spring musical as a Little Symphony performance. This is for 3-5; and 6-8 grades.
We are so fortunate in our community to have such talented children who are able to give such a wonderful performance for their peers and younger audiences.
