Welcome! One Book, One School is a community event where families, students, and teachers will be sharing their love for literacy by all reading Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate. 

Families are encouraged to read the book aloud to their student(s) at home. Reading aloud is valuable because it better prepares effective readers and it is also a worthwhile family activity!

¡Bienvenido! One Book, One School es un evento comunitario donde familias, estudiantes y maestros compartirán su amor por la alfabetización leyendo Crenshaw de Katherine Applegate. 

Se anima a las familias a leer el libro en voz alta a sus estudiantes en casa. Leer en voz alta es valioso porque prepara mejor a los lectores eficaces y también es una actividad familiar que vale la pena.
