Our reading class will focus primarily on novels and short stories. It is important that the students become independent readers, able to gain solid comprehension of the text on their own. As a result, the students will be expected to do some of the reading out of class for homework. The students will received periodic quizzes to ensure students are comprehending what they are reading.
