Welcome to 6th Grade Language Arts!
I am looking forward to working with all of my new students, as well as their parents, so that we can develop a successful partnership to make sure our 6th graders learn and grow as much as possible this school year so that they are well-prepared for 7th grade and beyond.

A Little About Me
I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Go Redbirds!
I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Master's Degree in Reading which allowed me to start my career as a Reading Specialist.
This is my seventh year teaching 6th grade Language Arts at S.E. Gross. Prior to teaching here, I spent two years as a Reading Specialist in another middle school.
In my free time I enjoy taking trapeze classes and spending time with my husband, my beautiful daughters Kaylee Rose and Emma Grace, and my adorable dog Colonel.
