Welcome to District 87 Fifth Grade Band, Orchestra, & Choir!
FIFTH GRADE PERFORMING ENSEMBLES - BAND | ORCHESTRA | CHOIR
This website is a resource for students about to enter fifth grade in District 87 Elementary Schools: Bent, Irving, Oakland, Sheridan, Stevenson and Washington. Students can choose to participate in band, orchestra or choir. All of these programs meet before school each day at Bloomington Junior High School from 8:00 am - 8:35 am.

Follow the steps to enroll District 87 students entering the 5th grade:
Step 2:
Choose an instrument - All students completed a trial and received a recommendation letter at school
*If another trial is needed, please visit one of the local music stores
Paso 2:

Complete and submit the GOOGLE REGISTRATION FORM

How do I go about getting an instrument?
Most students have completed the instrument selection process after visiting with a music teacher at their elementary school. A recommendation letter was sent home with students that completed instrument trials; however, if you would like to explore more options with your child, the information for our local music stores is listed below.
