There is a small sensory area in my room where students can read a book, stretch on a mat, or use a fidget or weighted blanket to reduce sensory stimuli and begin to calm.

**Each week I meet with students, either in groups or individually, to work on behavior skills, friendship skills, organization, listening skills, and much more!

**Part of my job this year is doing the Special Education Evaluations for both elementary schools (Avon Elementary and Albany Elementary). I am loving it! I get to meet so many more students and their families, and show them how much they are improving!

*Students can earn "Positive Behavior Beads" for working together, showing Pawsitive Pride (Being Respectful, Responsible and Safe) and working hard on individual goals and objectives! Students are grouped into teams and earn beads toward a group reward!
