ABOUT ME

Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda Jensen.

​This is my fourth year as a special education teacher at Albany Elementary School.

Before joining the Albany Area School District I taught special education for 4 years at Royalton Elementary School.

In 2015 I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.

In the summer of 2019, I was accepted to the graduate program at Minnesota State University Moorhead to pursue a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

I currently hold an Academic Behavior Strategist License, a Specific Learning Disabilities License, and a Early Childhood Development License.

When I'm not at school teaching, I enjoy being outside, spending time at the lake, running, swimming, biking, hiking, reading books, and spending time with my adorable golden retriever, Scout!

I'm extremely excited to be working with your child this year!
