Interventions

Welcome to the Interventions Home Page.

Albany Elementary provides Interventions to those students at both ends of the learning spectrum.

Title 1 Services provides access to programming to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and meet challenging state academic standards. Title 1 is a federally funded program. Title 1 grant funds provide supplementary funding to improve the teaching and learning of children. Funds are to be used only for programs that supplement, and do not supplant, the services that would be provided in the absence of these funds.

High Potential is provided for those students who show exceptional ability in the areas of Math and English Language Arts. High Potential students are assessed and then offered programming to suit the enrichment of those students. High Potential programming is supported directly by local district funding.
