2026-2027 Deadlines
September 3, 2026: TSA Participation and Expectation Letter signed and returned to Mrs. Bulman by the end of the school day.
September 10, 2026: $25 TSA Dues turned in to Mrs. Bulman by the end of the school day. This is a required fee for all Work Based Learning students and any student that intends on participating in TSA. Please see me privately if there is any difficulty paying the fee.
September 30, 2026: Project and Team Selection form due through Schoology or email.
October 8, 2026: Define Problem, Research, and Requirements completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This can be completed in person or through a digital video conference.
October 15, 2026: Brainstorm, Evaluate, and Choose Solution completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This can be completed in person or through a digital video conference.
November 12, 2026: Work Log and Project Review for Develop and Prototype Solution completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This can be completed in person or through a digital video conference.
December 10, 2026: Work Log and Project Review for Develop and Prototype Solution completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This can be completed in person or through a digital video conference.
January 4, 2027: Students will receive a final invoice for TSA State Conference if attending.
January 6, 2027: Test Solution completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This can be completed in person or through a digital video conference.
January 7, 2027: Elimination competition at Rye High School for project overage.
January 14, 2027: All fees due to Rye High School in the form of cash or check.
January 21, 2027: Final Project and Portfolio review completed with conference with Mrs. Bulman. This must be completed in person. Mrs. Bulman will schedule an additional meeting with students if there are any issues with the submission.
January 29, 2027: Attendance at District 70 TSA Regionals at Vineland Middle School.
January 30, 2027: Preconference submissions due.
February 3-5, 2027: Online testing window for any pre-tests required as part of a competition.
February 25-28, 2026: TSA State Competition.
Reminder that all event registration must be finalized and invoices must be paid by Thursday, January 15. Invoices can be paid by cash or check made payable to Rye High School through Mrs. Bulman by the end of the day Thursday.
Students will be receiving a letter today or tomorrow with details on upcoming deadlines. All sites, surveys, or resources mentioned in the letter are below. Students MUST complete the updated Project Selection survey even if completed previously. This must be done before Christmas Break. NO EXCEPTIONS! See Mrs. Bulman or Mr. Ressel with any questions.
