About Ms. Verzo

Hello,

I am so excited to be working with your student this year!

This will be my seventh year of teaching at Nichols and my ninth year as an educator.  Prior to working at District 65, I spent two years teaching for Chicago Public Schools. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Masters of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University.

My interests outside of school include cooking (especially Filipino food), baking (I love desserts) and cats (which I'm sure you'll hear a lot about from your student).
