About Cynthia

Cynthia is a Level 3 certified Essentrics instructor. (There are 4 levels of training) She became interested in Essentrics through the PBS program Classical Stretch. She went to the CS website to learn more about the method and to look for a live class in the area. There were no teachers in the immediate area, so she decided to pursue certification herself.

Cynthia was born and raised in Chicago. She and her husband crossed the border into Evanston after the birth of their daughter in 2006.

Cynthia has been a teacher in Evanston/Skokie Public Schools since 1991.

Cynthia grew up with dance lessons. Today she is still dancing at Studio Mangialmeli, a flamenco studio in Evanston.

Cynthia is also very active at Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago.
