There are few things in life that feel as good as a well struck golf shot. It's addicting; once it happens . . . you know. We chase after the feeling, only to live in a state of disappointment more often... than not. Unless, we adopt an approach to the game where-in we accept that Golf is not a Game of Perfect.
I have a copy of the book if anyone wishes to borrow it. (claimed...check back later)

From the dept. of "Never have I ever..."
In my seven years of active coaching, this is by far the deepest roster of varsity contenders. My goal has always been to take the best team of six players to districts and beyond. Here we are, approaching the 3rd week of April, heading into the 6th week of an 8 week season, and there are 7 athletes competing for 4 varsity spots. That's a first for me - the pack separated much earlier in previous seasons.
It's not a bad problem to have when the goal is to be a competitive effort amongst our peers. I look forward to the preparation ahead. Iron Sharpens Iron.

This short quote stuck with me:
“Without the bitterness of preparation, *
There is to be no explosion of joy…”
