Social Workers
Previously, Mr. Chennell was a social studies teacher in the district, teaching at both BHS and BNHS. Mr. Chennell has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Northern Illinois University (2003), and a Master of Social Work Degree from Aurora University (2018). In his free time, Mr. Chennell enjoys board games, guitar jam sessions with friends, playing softball, going to concerts, and spending time with his family.
Interventionist
Speech & Language
Mrs. Hartman began working at Belvidere North High School in 2013. Before that she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and with a Master’s of Speech Language Pathology from Saint Ambrose University. Mrs. Hartman currently splits her time as a speech therapist between Belvidere North High School and Caledonia Elementary School. She really appreciates getting to collaborate with so many wonderful staff members, and she especially enjoys getting to work with high school students at BNHS. Outside of school, Mrs. Hartman loves spending time with her husband and two young daughters. Together they like to go camping, boating, exercise, or do anything outdoors.
School Psychologist
Mrs. Doyle became the school psychologist at Belvidere North High School in 2017. Prior to that, she worked at a special education cooperative in Goshen, IN for three years. Mrs. Doyle earned her Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University. She continued her education at Indiana State University where she earned her Master's degree in Education and Specialist degree in School Psychology. Thus far, she has enjoyed working with the students and staff at BNHS and looks forward to attending some school events. When she's not at BNHS, Mrs. Doyle enjoys being with her husband and loves reading, spending time with family/friends, and traveling.
