Paying for college can be overwhelming. There are many types of financial aid to help alleviate costs to students and their families.
1st: Complete the financial aid application that is right for you!
ALL seniors must complete the FAFSA application, Alternative Application (or the Non-Participation Form) in order to meet Illionois graduation requirements. Financial aid is available for students attending college level courses after high school (trade, technical school, community college, university).
Which one should I complete?
Eligible students who plan on attending college level courses during the upcoming school year. Must fill out the FAFSA appication every year you plan to attend school.
Open to undocumented students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA. Must fill out the Alternative Application every year you plan to attend school.
For students who understand what the finanical applications can do for them and decide they are not going to fill them out at this time. (Going straight to work or military and NOT attending college).
Students will need to create an ISAC account to fill it out.
