About Me:
My name is Lisa Kokoruz and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist working with the Preschool and Early Childhood Students at Diamond Lake School. This is my 11th year working for the district and my 27th year working as an SLP with young children. I help children who have delays in speech sound articulation, vocabulary development, putting words into sentences, understanding questions and directions, and using words to get their needs met and/or interact socially with others in school.
I work with students who have identified speech-language needs during classroom-based and/or weekly pull-out sessions. I use a combination of structured table activities, as well as play-based naturalistic interventions, to address each child’s individual goals. I hope to make your child love to communicate!
If your child does not receive speech therapy at this time but you have concerns about their communication abilities, feel free to contact me to discuss a possible screening and/or suggestions to use at home.
