Skills We Are Learning
This week during reading, we read many fiction books about farms and farm animals. We started writing a Kindergarten Memory Book. It is so fun remembering all the exciting things we did throughout the year! We also learned the new sight word: said.
In math, we have been learning about shapes. We learned about 3D shapes. We focused on spheres, cylinders, cubes and cones. We also practice counting every day!
It's hard to believe that we have started our ABC Countdown. (See above). We have only 10 days of school left!
We are having so much fun learning the letters in the alphabethrough the ABC Bootcamp. Each day we are ocussing on one letter in the alphabet. We are making crowns, reading books and listing words that start with that letter. Herewe are wearour bee crowns for the letter b
Homework Assignments
Keep Reading! April Reading Logs are due.
It is very important to read for at least 20 minutes everyday. Please read with your child or have your child read to you.
Reading Log: When your child reads a book or you read a book to them, have them color in one picture. At the end of the month, have your child return their sheet to their classroom teacher. We hope this will motivate them to want to continue reading at home.
Tareas
¡Sigue leyendo!
