Dear Diamond Lake School Families,

Thank you to everyone who attended our Welcome to Kindergarten Night last evening! Here is a link to the presentation. If you know of any future Diamond Lake Cubs who will turn 5 before September 1, 2026, please feel free to share this information with their families.

Looking ahead to next week, we have an exciting 1st grade concert on Thursday, April 16, and a late start on Monday, April 13, with lots of meaningful learning happening in between. Since returning from spring break, our attendance has been outstanding—we are aiming to continue our streak of 10 consecutive days with over 92% of students in attendance each day!

Here is a look at our attendance for the week:

• Wednesday: 94.7% 😍

• Thursday: 93.3%

D76 CARES: At D76, the well-being of our students and families is our top priority. Understanding the critical role mental health plays in student success, we have launched D76 CARES - a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving access to quality mental health services across our community. D76 CARES stands for Community, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement, and Support. Treatment services are initially provided free of charge to district families for up to 8 sessions. This Sunday from 3:30-6:00

Join us for a fun afternoon at Just for Fun Roller Rink on Sunday, April 12th from 3:30-6:00. $10 to skate, $5 for spectators.  Food will be available to purchase.  Students Pre-K through Fifth Grade must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

Next PTO Meeting- You are invited to join us at our monthly PTO meeting. Tuesday April 21st, 2026 6:00-7:00pm Diamond Lake Elementary School Library. All are welcome to attend.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4th through 8th.  We’ll be celebrating the great work our teachers do all week.  Check out our volunteer page for up to date information and sign ups.  

Field day at Diamond Lake School will be on May 26th from 12pm-2:10 pm. With a Rain day on May 27th. Volunteer sign ups coming soon.
