Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
We are so excited to kick off the school year together! Don’t forget—our Back to School Bash is tonight at 5:00 PM here at Diamond Lake School. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the start of the year, connect with other families, and enjoy some fun activities. I’ll be there making cotton candy, and I cannot wait to see you and your family join in the fun!
As we begin the year, we also want to highlight the importance of attendance. Did you know that missing just two days of school a month adds up to nearly 20 days in a year? That’s a full month of learning! Regular attendance helps students stay on track socially, emotionally, and academically.
Of course, there are times when staying home is the best choice for your child’s health and the health of others. Please keep your child home if they are experiencing:
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fever
Or if they have a doctor’s note recommending rest
Thank you for helping us prioritize both safety and learning by supporting strong attendance while also keeping our community healthy.
New this year, we invite families to complete this nomination Form to recognize staff members who are going above and beyond in the classroom, school, or district. Help us spread positivity by highlighting the great work our staff are doing each day!
Every day at DLS matters!
Keep shining and #SparkleOn,
Mrs. Sunny Morley
Principal, Diamond Lake School

The Smile Dentist is Coming!
We’re excited to share that the Smile Dentist will be visiting our school on Monday, September 16th. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to receive dental care right at school.
