Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
We have some exciting updates to share as we wrap up the week!
🎭 Field Trip Announcement
We are thrilled to let you know that our students will be attending a field trip to the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre on December 18 to see Finding Nemo. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to experience live theatre and connect with the story in a new way.
A permission slip is attached below—please return it as soon as possible so your child can participate.
❄️ Cold Weather & Recess Update
This week, we’ve been navigating the cold snap by having indoor recess. Our students have done a great job adapting, and we’re hopeful the weather warms up soon so we can get back outside and enjoy playing in the snow!
🚌 Transportation & Dismissal
Thank you for your patience with afternoon transportation delays this week. The trains stopped on the tracks created unexpected challenges during dismissal, and we appreciate your flexibility as we worked to ensure students got home safely.
To help you stay informed about any future bus delays directly from our transportation company, you can sign up for Bus Bulletin notifications here:
