Below you will find the scales used to show proficiency in each of our learning standards. When your sixth grader takes an assessment, their score for each standard on the test is shown in Skyward. Those numbers you see in Skyward come from the specific criteria in these scales. 

The goal is for students to eventually get 3's on the different learning standards. A score of 2 shows they have the standard partially mastered, and this is expected during the early part of the school year. The work we do throughout the year is designed to help them eventually show consistent mastery of the standards. A score of 4 is obtained when students show an understanding that goes beyond what is expected in 6th grade.
