Meet the teacher

Dear Parents, 

I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you. My name is Dori Bolla and I will be your child’s cross categorical teacher for the school year.  

This will be my seventh year working as a special educator at Prairie Grove Junior High School and my ninth year teaching. Previously, I worked at a CPS school and Easter Seals Autism Therapeutic School. Professionally, I hold a B.S. in psychology from Roosevelt University, and an M.S. degree in special education from Northeastern Illinois University. 

I believe that to ensure the highest academic and social achievement of students through learner-centered planning, ongoing communication is key. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any question or concerns you may have. I can respond to emails the fastest. However, if you need to reach me via phone, by all means please leave me a message and I will be sure to return your phone call as soon as possible.
