Welcome 5th Graders!

Fifth grade is an exciting year for students, especially as their last year of elementary school. We will be learning about interesting topics in science and social studies such as weather and matter, Colonial America and the Revolutionary War. Students will expand their reading, writing and math horizons as well.

We take wonderful field trips too, such as the Challenger Learning Center, which will be our destination this spring.

Students also experience some unique opportunities as the "senior class" of the elementary building, such as taking responsibility for recycling, filming announcements, and participating in our Battle of the Books.

We are thrilled to begin another year of learning adventures with our new fifth graders and look forward to working with parents as partners in education.
