Gina Greenawalt Co-Founder
Gina Greenawalt, a non attorney special education advocate, has a Master’s in Social Work and experience working in child welfare and alternative education. As a mom of two children, both who have specialized education needs, she quickly realized the need for supporting and educating caregivers navigating the special education system. Her passion and main focus of advocacy is inclusion and accessibility for all.
Antoinette Goins (Toni), is a non-attorney special education advocate, COPAA certified, and one of the voices behind this page. As a mother of four boys, Toni has spent the past seven years navigating the complexities of her children’s specialized education needs, using her experiences to fuel her passion for helping other families. Her journey has deepened her commitment to creating a strong, supportive community, where parents can access valuable resources and connect with others facing similar challenges.
A passionate advocate for inclusivity, Krista is dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to opportunities that support their growth and development.
With her background in storytelling and digital media, Krista brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience to our team. As a proud Ohio University graduate, her work resonates with diverse audiences and aligns perfectly with our mission.
Rena is a passionate mental health advocate, co-founder of Express Not Suppress Foundation, community leader, and scholar, dedicated to uplifting the neurodivergent community. Living by the motto, “Be the change you want to see,” I strive every day to show up with empathy and an open heart. I continuously seek to learn and grow, ensuring that the needs of those who feel unheard, forgotten, or misunderstood are met with compassion and respect. Together, we can build a world where every voice is valued and every person feels truly seen.
Katie Mihacevich holds a bachelor’s degree in Mild to Moderate Special Education and works part-time as a substitute Intervention Specialist, supporting students from preschool through 4th grade. As the parent of a child with specialized educational needs, she brings both personal and professional experience to her work. Katie has also served children and families through years of continued PTA involvement and has spent the last decade nurturing her two children as a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She is excited to join L.E.A.D. in continuing to support and advocate for equity and inclusion in education!
Jerome is a Clinical Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. A native of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Jerome exemplifies resilience and commitment to empowering the neurodivergent community. After graduating from Cleveland Heights High School and earning a psychology degree from the University of Akron, he completed his master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University.
Jerome specializes in autism and neurodivergency, a true passion reflected in his extensive experience supporting individuals on the spectrum and their families. His clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions, serving a diverse clientele from students to adults and couples.
As co-founder of Express Not Suppress, LLC, Jerome advances mental health access through innovative platforms fostering open dialogue and support for underserved populations. His dedication extends beyond counseling into faith-based and community leadership roles, including serving as a deacon at East Mount Zion Baptist Church and leading impactful programs like SWAG Sundays and Lifeline Mentoring.
Jerome is recognized for integrating holistic approaches, including hip-hop therapy and creative expression, as powerful tools for healing and empowerment. Through partnerships with organizations such as Better Way Inc., Sobriety Living, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he continues to inspire growth, unity, and transformation, helping individuals and communities realize their fullest potential.
Christopher is a current student enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Cleveland State University. He is passionate about helping youth and families, and is excited to learn and advocate for children with diverse educational needs.
