Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi Cursillo

We are thrilled to announce the next Cursillo for 2026. 

Our next retreat is September 18 - 20, 2026, with Whit Rayner serving as the Lay Rector and Melinda Ballard as Head Cha Cha. 

Join us at Camp Bratton-Green at Gray Center for this exciting weekend filled with spiritual growth and community bonding. The weekend will run from Friday to Sunday, with staff arriving Thursday evening. 

A committed team of laity and clergy works diligently to develop this weekend into a truly enriching experience. Although there have been some changes, the core concept of Cursillo as a 'short course' remains unchanged.

Please take time to pray about attending this weekend.  All participants are required to obtain a recommendation from both a sponsor and their church priest.  A sponsor will answer your questions and assist you in preparing for the weekend. Although they probably won't be there with you, they will be praying for you diligently. If you do not have a sponsor, please consult your church rector for assistance in finding one. The priest's recommendations are to ensure you are in good standing with the church and emotionally and spiritually ready to attend the retreat.  All priests' recommendations are held in confidence with the Lay Rector and the Spiritual Directors of the weekend.  All forms must be completed to be considered for the weekend. Space is limited!
