Early Learning and Childcare

Welcome to Strathpeffer ELC.  Our aim is to promote a home from home environment where the children feel safe, valued and nurtured.  Working together with our families we are passionate about helping children to fulfill their potential. 

With our 'Planning in the moment' approach to learning children are given the opportunity to develop socially, emotionally and academically at their own pace. 

We have an open door policy and always value your feedback, suggestions and knowledge regarding your child/ren.  Being at Strathpeffer ELC provides an easy transition into school.  We join the school for many activities such as assemblies, lunch and whole school events.  

Here at Strathpeffer ELC we have two learning environments.  We have the Rainbow room which is situated in the main school building and we have the Gruffalo room which is situated in the Community Centre.  All the children and staff rotate throughout the two environments.  Each space has an outdoor learning environment which is enjoyed by the children on a daily basis.   

Our setting is open from 9am - 3pm.
