Welcome to 3rd Grade!
My name is Mrs. Starkel and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year! My family and I moved to Dillon this summer from Libby, MT. It's wonderful being back with our extended family - our children have loved it!
I attended the University of Montana Western where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 10th year in education. I most recently taught 6th grade math, social studies, and science. Before that, I taught 3rd grade in Parker, Colorado.
I am excited to be back in 3rd grade! It's a a wonderful time where learners find their independence and gain confidence in their abilities. It will be an exceptional year of growth for all! I look forward to getting to know your students and working with you this school year.
