The MTO has retained Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. (GIP) and Dillon Consulting Limited (Dillon) to complete Design-Build Contract 2026-2002, which includes the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study, Detail Design and construction of the Highway 11/12/Coldwater Road and Highway 11/12/Old Barrie Road Bridge Replacements, Interchange Reconstructions and Road Widening, located in the City of Orillia.
The MTO has identified these bridge structures for replacement to address rehabilitation needs, and to improve operations and safety along Highway 11/12.

The Highway 11/12/Coldwater Road and Highway 11/12/Old Barrie Road bridges are located in Orillia, Ontario. The Highway 11/12/Coldwater Road bridge carries four lanes of traffic over Highway 11/12, while the Highway 11/12/Old Barrie Road bridge carries two lanes of traffic over Highway 11/12.
