Study Overview

The extent of work and potential impacts to traffic during construction at each structure is currently being reviewed however, the following work is anticipated:

County Road 2/34

Being completed as a Group 'B' Class EA. Scope of work includes replacement of existing structure with the same number of traffic lanes as existing. Traffic will be maintained throughout construction. Short duration (overnight) detour of Highway 401 traffic is required when the structure is demolished. Short duration ramp closures are also anticipated.

Raisin River Bridges

Being completed as a Group 'B' Class EA. Replace two bridges on Highway 401 over Raisin River. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on Highway 401 during construction.

Finney Creek Culvert

Being completed as a Group 'C' Class EA. The study will investigate the extent of rehabilitation required for the culvert under Highway 401, located east of the County Road 2/34 Interchange.

Updates regarding the scope of work and impacts to adjacent residents will be provided as the project proceeds. Updates on the project will also be posted to this website throughout the design phase of this project.
