Hi there! I'm Ms. Stovall. I was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University with degree in Mass Media Communications and Musical Theater. I love to create and explore with kids. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten and couldn't be more excited.

English Language Arts
Let's dive into the wonderful world of reading! For the 4th nine weeks students will be reviewing the standards we've covered this year. Everyday, students will listen to stories and answer comprehension questions about character, setting, major events and key details.
Rl.K-Key Ideas and Evidence
Rl.1.2- Retell stories, including key details.
Objectives:
Identify important events and key details in a story.
Recognize that events happen in sequence.
Rl.1.3- Describe characters in a story, using key details.
Objectives:
Recognize that characters are the people or animals that story is about.
I identify words and phrases that indicate character's feelings.

Math
We are counting from 1 to 100 and building with shapes! for the 4th nine weeks we will be reviewing the standards we've covered this year. Students will be working with hands on activities involving counting with manipulatives and using 2d shapes to build 3d objects.

Science
We're thoroughly enjoying the springtime atmosphere in our science class! Throughout this last nine-week period, we'll be exploring topics such as weather patterns, human adaptations to various seasons, and everything related to the spring season.

Kenya boasts stunning natural landscapes and a profound, extensive history filled with captivating individuals. Our last nine weeks we will be studying this beautiful country.
