Welcome Back!!! I am so excited to be your child's teacher. I pray everyone enjoyed their summer break. It's my hope that this school year will be full of successful experiences for all students, as well as myself. I will be teaching your child Reading and Social Studies. I am looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our students excel and grow. I realize in order for our students to be successful in school, they must have support from home and school. I will do my very best to carry out my responsibilities as your child's teacher . Tuesday- An ancestor is a family member from the past. Tell a story about one of your ancestors.

READING STRATEGY- S.T.O.R.Y
S- is for the setting. It tells us when and where.
T- Is for the talking characters. The whom which we compare.
O- is for Oops There's A Problem! The conflict which revolves.
R- is for resolution, the steps for us to solve.
Y- is for Yes! Woohoo!!! The Solution has been found.

Monday- Bake spaghettis ( beef ), corn, green peas, wheat grain rice, mandarin oranges and milk
Tuesday- Fish sticks, green peas, baked fries, pears and milk
